Reservations Hospitality Specialist

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team as a Reservations Agent at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with planning and booking reservations for various services including hotel rooms, resort houses, restaurants, and facilities.

The role of the Reservations Agent is crucial in providing first point of contact to our guests. They deliver efficient, prompt, trouble-free, courteous, and quality service to callers.
About the Role:

• Greet guests over the phone in a friendly, welcoming, and courteous manner.
• Record reservation information accurately on Hotsoft Operating System.
• Identify and record group and transient business codes.
• Record and process deposit information.
• Record special billing instructions.
• Approve credit after consultation with Revenue Supervisor.
• Record requests for special accommodation and suites.
• File all reservations in a systematic order for easy referral.
• Identify commissionable reservations and secure required information.
• Inform other departments of VIP arrivals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• An outstanding customer service attitude and motivation to please the guest.
• Administration experience using IT systems.
• A high level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to use your own initiative while being a team player.
• Fluent spoken English with excellent writing skills.
• An excellent level of computer literacy using systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
