Environmental Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Scientist to fill a key role in our hydrogeology department. As a specialist in groundwater management and environmental protection, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the sustainability of water resources for our clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into groundwater systems, including sampling and data analysis.
- Develop and implement effective groundwater monitoring programs.
- Evaluate the potential impacts of developments on groundwater resources.
- Design and oversee the installation of monitoring wells.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and interpret complex hydrogeological data.
- Utilize modeling software to simulate groundwater flow and contaminant transport.
- Provide expert advice on groundwater management and remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Perform fieldwork while adhering to rigorous health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Substantial professional experience in hydrogeology.
- Proficiency in industry-standard hydrogeological software (e.g., MODFLOW, GMS) and GIS data analysis.
- Exceptional report writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fully licensed driver with a willingness to travel for fieldwork.
