We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's team based in Kilkenny.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary package, training and development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
Job Description:The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance and inspections of production equipment to minimize downtime. They will also conduct repairs on mechanical, instrumentation, and pneumatic systems as needed.
In addition, they will support installation and commissioning of new machinery, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production processes, and ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and hygiene regulations.
The candidate will also maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any recurring issues, assist with light engineering tasks, including fabrications, adjustments, and modifications to equipment, and monitor spare parts inventory and report low stock levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
