Job Title: Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. This role involves providing companionship, personal support, and mobility assistance to clients in their homes.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be required to maintain confidentiality and adhere to our company's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility issues by assisting with transfers and walks
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements:

  • A Level 5 QQI Healthcare qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
  • Will pass Garda Clearance
  • Have suitable character references
  • Have suitable permission to work
