Insurance Sales Professional


We are seeking a skilled Insurance Sales Professional to join our team in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established independent brokerage that specializes in Personal and Commercial Lines insurance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of existing personal lines clients by following up with them and ensuring retention.
  • Assist clients with car, home, and van insurance, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Support new business generation.
  • Build strong relationships with local clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with Personal Lines Brokers in the team to ensure seamless client support.
  • Process insurance documentation, endorsements, and claims inquiries.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Personal Lines insurance (Broker or Direct Insurer experience).
  • An APA qualification is preferred (or almost qualified).
  • Experience with broker systems is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • A proactive and organized approach to handling client queries and renewals.
