Key responsibilities include providing recovery-oriented, client-centred social work services to women attending the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in social factors impacting mental health and family dynamics.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a coordinated approach to client care
- Assess the person in their environment using a systemic perspective
- Provide expertise on social factors impacting the service user's mental health and family
- Emphasise Family Focused Practice and psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions that address the mother's mental health, the mother-infant relationship, the Partner/Supporter, and the broader family and community system
