Your Role

TN Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team in Sligo. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that biological and environmental monitoring procedures are met. This includes maintaining laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity requirements, carrying out environmental and product microbiological tests as required, defining and updating procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing, training laboratory staff in operational tests, and adhering to all EHS & E standards, procedures, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and comply with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements.
  • Carry out environmental and product microbiological tests as required.
  • Define and update procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing.
  • Train laboratory staff in operational tests.
  • Carry out training as per training plan.
  • Validation of equipment and test methods for microbiological tests.
  • Test method transfer of microbiological methods.
  • Develop microbiological laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date, complete and precise records of all tests performed.
  • Adhere to and support all EHS & E standards, procedures, and policies.
