This is a key leadership position that requires an experienced Senior Accountant to manage General Ledger accounting and serve as the primary Relationship Manager for various entities.
Key Accountabilities:
Support the Bluestream SAP project, focusing on financial compliance and process improvements.
Manage and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure ledger integrity and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Oversee month-end close processes, including P&L and balance sheet analysis, review, reconciliation, and resolution.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide accurate data and communication to support audits.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements.
- Develop and assess internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting systems.
- Support Statutory Accounting and VAT programs within International GFS.
Requirements:
A qualified accountant with experience in a multi-country RTR environment.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local European statutory and tax reporting requirements.
Proficiency in Oracle or equivalent, and Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience in Shared Services and a global finance function is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple functions and cultures.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Effective communication in English; additional European languages beneficial.
