Job Description
We are recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join our client's Older Persons Rehabilitation Hospital in Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment, providing high-quality patient care in a hospital rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for older adults.
- Enhancing patients' quality of life and promoting independence.
- Working closely with Multidisciplinary Teams.
- Supporting discharge planning.
- Providing manual handling and equipment recommendations.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Full CORU registration.
- Experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
- Experience working with individuals who have a range of neurological conditions.
- Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Irish Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
