As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at one of our Orchard Residential Care homes in County Sligo.

Main Purpose of Job
  • To supervise the home on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people.
  • To work collaboratively with the Manager to deliver a high-quality service that promotes positive outcomes for residents.
  • To promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and diversity within the home and across all aspects of its work.
Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and support the Social Care team in delivering a high-quality service that prioritizes the safety, well-being, and development of young people.
  • To contribute to the development of the service, implementing plans and strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in mainstream residential care, working with vulnerable children and young people.
  • CORU registration eligibility.
  • Excellent communication, IT, and report-writing skills.
  • A full clean Irish driver's license held for at least 1 year.
  • Valid Garda clearance and Overseas clearance if applicable.
