Job Title

As a key member of our organisation, this role plays a critical part in shaping the global supply chain. The successful candidate will own the full planning and procurement cycle, driving supply chain excellence, ensuring business continuity, and unlocking growth opportunities through smart planning, strategic procurement, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Planning:
    • Manage the supply chain planning process, presenting data and insights at regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Ensure material availability to support production plans, maintaining optimal inventory levels at all times.
    • Take a managerial role in the S&OP process, providing end-to-end analysis, scenario planning, and recommendations to inform business decisions.
    • Liaise with global counterparts and business leaders, representing the local supply chain organisation with professionalism and authority.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management:
    • Oversee all procurement activities, from order placement to fulfilment and receipt.
    • Develop, agree, and execute supply plans in collaboration with key partners across the business.
    • Manage supplier and contract manufacturer relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and delivery against agreed KPIs.
  • New Product Introduction & Projects:
    • Act as supply chain Manager for New Product Introductions, business integrations, and tech transfers, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and planning systems.
    • Partner with Project Management to anticipate and address supply/demand conflicts, delivering solutions that balance business priorities.
    • Own supply chain systems (ERP, QMS, master data), ensuring accurate data and continuous process improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or operations within a biotech, pharma, or food ingredients environment.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external partnerships, ensuring alignment across functions including Commercial, R&D, and Finance.
  • Experience managing cross-functional communication around logistics and planning, ensuring clarity and transparency.
  • Ability to foster a high-performance culture within the supply chain team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience running Key Performance Indicators & metrics on Supply Chain.
  • Strong knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, and supplier management.
