The ideal candidate will possess expertise in both conditions, with a strong background in clinical trials, data analysis, and regulatory requirements. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for shaping and executing medical affairs strategies that drive therapeutic value, scientific leadership, and enrolment in clinical trials.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic medical and scientific leadership for pulmonary hypertension and ILD-related products.
- Serving as the medical lead for cross-functional product teams, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and unmet patient needs.
- Developing the clinical landscape for PH-ILD, gaining insights into the patient journey, referral patterns, treatment, and diagnostic patterns.
- Driving medical evidence generation strategies, including real-world evidence, observational research, investigator-initiated studies, and medical affairs-sponsored studies.
- Supporting the dissemination of scientific data through publications, congress presentations, advisory boards, and medical education programs.
- Ensuring scientific accuracy, fair balance, and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degree or equivalent.
- Relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment preferred.
- In-depth understanding of the ILD landscape is a strong preference.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia or equivalent.
- Proven leadership skills in a cross-functional global team environment.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
