Job Summary

The role of the Employee Relations Manager is pivotal in promoting positive working relationships, conflict resolution and staff wellbeing within an organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Employee Relations Strategy.
  • Foster strong relationships with senior management, employees and trade union representatives through regular consultation.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee-related matters and best practice.
  • Manage internal dispute resolution processes and serve as the first point of contact for unions and employees.
  • Support senior management in implementing organisational change and provide employee relations training.
  • Represent the organisation at relevant industry meetings and forums relating to Employee Relations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum level 8 qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations from a recognised awarding body.
  • At least five years of experience in an Employee Relations environment in a senior role.
  • Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation and management experience, including leading and supporting teams.
