About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Cost Accountant to join our team based in Shannon, Co. Clare. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing data on our client's operational costs, monitoring variances to standard cost, and investigating differences.

">

You will drive consistency and standardisation of cost accounting, carry out margin analysis, manage and develop financial systems to meet changing requirements, while ensuring procedures are developed for these systems. You will also review current interfaces and propose solutions to streamline and reduce manual intervention, perform account reconciliations, prepare audit reports, and present findings to management.

Liaising with external auditors and other professional advisors as required, you will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice and support. If you have excellent IT and systems experience, advanced excel and PowerBI skills, excellent analytical and data management skills, planning and organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and commercial acumen, we would love to hear from you.
