Job Title: Data Science Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our dynamic team in developing and implementing innovative fraud detection solutions.

  1. Lead a team of data scientists in designing and executing cutting-edge fraud prevention strategies through advanced detection models and algorithms.
  2. Own a business domain and drive data-driven risk management strategies to support global business objectives.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of fraud detection systems against key metrics and goals, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities.
  4. Drive complex business projects from start to finish, leveraging expertise in machine learning, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
  5. Collaborate with product and platform teams to create scalable, secure, and innovative products that enhance customer experiences.
  6. Nurture strong cross-functional relationships to ensure fraud risk management efforts align with overall company objectives.
  7. Stay informed on emerging trends, techniques, and technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously evolve and strengthen fraud prevention capabilities.

You need to bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent), with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience working in the fraud domain, with a demonstrated ability to take personal ownership of complex challenges. Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience is required.
  • A quick thinker with a fast learning ability, broad general knowledge, and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and soft skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to executive leadership.
