The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of social workers in providing high quality, community-based services to children and families with complex needs.
About the Role:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of social workers in delivering high quality services to children and families.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support children and families with complex needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in social work and apply this knowledge to inform service development and delivery.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to children and families.
Requirements:
- Degree or Masters in Social Work or equivalent National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW).
- Fully registered with CORU.
- 5 years post qualification experience.
- Expert assessment, clinical and reflective skills to meet the needs of children and families supported by the CDNT.
- Excellent communication, time management skills and the ability to work in a self-directed manner.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
