Cregg Group, a leading professional services firm with offices nationwide, seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their growing team based in Limerick.
This is a Permanent/ Full Time role with a hybrid & flexible working policy on offer. The successful candidate will work 3 days from home and 2 days in the office.
The Role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a busy payroll bureau environment, providing outsourced payroll services to diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Payroll Management team with production of weekly/fortnightly, monthly & Quarterly payrolls for Ireland.
- Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process, BIK, share awards, pension, and other voluntary and statutory deductions.
- Dealing with starters and leavers registrations.
- Processing the monthly PAYE Submissions on ROS.
- Processing ERR submissions.
- Assisting in the resolution of day-to-day employee payroll queries in a professional manner.
- Adhering to internal procedures aligned to SOX compliance.
- Required to assist with external agencies in relation to payroll matters including, Client Auditors, CSO, Dept. of Social and Family Affairs & Revenue Commissioners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- IPASS payroll qualification with at least 3 years of payroll bureau experience.
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality is required.
- UK payroll experience desirable but not necessary.
- Experienced in using payroll systems (Europay experience an advantage).
- Strong IT skills with a high level of proficiency across the MS Office suite particularly with Excel.
