Job Title: Junior Estimator

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to assist in the preparation of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for upcoming projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, proficiency in estimating software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, researching material and labor costs, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and maintaining organized records of estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Research and analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine estimates and address any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, including supporting documentation and historical data for future reference.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other estimating software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
