We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant Professional to join our team at one of the best Nursing Homes in Co Louth. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents and promoting their overall well-being.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure a warm and welcoming environment.
  2. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents while promoting their independence and autonomy.
  3. Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to: assisting with personal hygiene, managing continence, preparing meals, and engaging in leisure activities.
  4. Contribute to the development of care plans to enhance the overall quality of care provided.
  5. Monitor and report any changes in a resident's physical or mental condition to ensure timely interventions.

Requirements

  • Minimum partial QQI Level 5 Award – Healthcare or equivalent
  • Elder care experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent personal care abilities
  • Nursing Degree / Allied Health Degree / Relevant Healthcare Degree
