St. Joseph's Foundation is a voluntary organisation dedicated to providing comprehensive services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.
About the Role:
- We are seeking experienced care support professionals to join our team as Residential Healthcare Assistants in a residential setting in Granagh, supporting individuals with disabilities.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with challenging behaviours of adults and children with intellectual disabilities.
- You will work as part of a dedicated team, building and maintaining positive relationships with service users and all stakeholders.
- Your primary focus will be on ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents, adhering to HIQA standards and residential care regulations.
- This role requires a high degree of flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- A QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare or a relevant field (full award) is essential.
- Previous experience working with children/adults in the field of intellectual disability is mandatory.
- A full manual driving license and access to your own transport are required.
- A degree of flexibility and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them maximise their quality of life is crucial.
