This role is responsible for providing scrutiny and oversight of client deliverables in line with tight divisional service level agreements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining billion-dollar client relationships and delivering process improvements and risk mitigation projects.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide scrutiny and oversight of Client Deliverables;
- Oversee and support all new Client and Fund launches;
- Act as main liaison with Clients and Internal and External stakeholders to drive results and deliverables;
- Own and manage the Operational Risk Log and understanding of RMP2 and 5;
- Escalate and articulate key risks and issues to Senior Management;
- Take full accountability on issues raised and escalated by clients and Internal Departments;
- Continually review current processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risk;
- Ensure staff adhere to and understand all Risk Policies and Best Practice Procedures, maintaining ongoing risk awareness;
- Foster an interactive and collaborative team environment with own and other teams;
- Develop and monitor career development of team members;
- Develop and maintain key relationships with other departments, particularly Fund Accounting and COEs;
- Review and analyze key risk indicators;
- Manage periodic staff evaluations;
This position requires a degree qualified individual with at least 5 years of work experience in Financial Services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
- Key Qualifications:
- Degree qualified with at least 5 years of work experience in Financial Services;
- Proven interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry;
- Audit experience – Internal and External (CBI a major plus), with strong Risk and Control awareness and insight into ORL across Reconciliations;
- Expert knowledge of Middle Office functions and processes;
- Execution-driven with excellent analytical/problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines;
- Proven track record in maintaining billion-dollar client relationships and delivering process improvements and risk mitigation projects;
- Excellent people management and team leadership skills;
- Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks aligned to department and organizational goals;
