R&D Tax Manager Job Description

As a R&D Tax Manager, you will lead a team of professionals in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the smooth processing of claims from inception to submission. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent report writing skills, and the ability to manage workflows and deadlines.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients from inception to review
  • Ensure smooth processing of jobs from information collection through to submission
  • Organise workflow to ensure prompt completion of jobs
  • Manage team throughout the R&D process and ensure deadlines are met
  • Deliver educational seminars with clients and present either in person or via Teams
  • Work with clients to improve their record keeping and approach
  • Deal with any HMRC enquiries that may arise

You will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the training of junior staff
  • Developing business development skills and knowledge
