The Senior BIM Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM execution plans to ensure project-specific quality standards. This includes producing detailed 3D BIM models, ensuring alignment with standards and goals outlined in BIM Execution Plans and workflows, and collaborating internally and externally with various disciplines involved in projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development Coordination: Coordinate the development of precise and accurate BIM execution plans to establish and uphold project-specific quality standards.
- 3D Modeling: Produce detailed 3D BIM models aligning with project requirements.
- Standards Adherence: Ensure BIM models align with standards and goals outlined in BIM Execution Plans and workflows. Collaborate internally and externally with various disciplines involved in projects.
- Content Creation: Generate BIM modeling content, including configuring additional Revit families and templates.
- Drawing Development: Develop construction drawings and extract necessary data from BIM models.
- CDE Management: Administer and maintain the Common Data Environment, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
- Standards Enforcement: Enforce BEPs and SMPs within the CDE.
- Quality Checks: Perform conformity checks on Revit models. Manage clash detections on federated models using Navisworks.
- Implementation Monitoring: Monitor the implementation of BIM execution plans throughout projects. Collaborate with subcontractors and design teams to align on objectives.
- Development Support: Work closely with the BIM team to facilitate continuous development of BIM knowledge across the organization.
