Product Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Product Development Engineer to design and develop innovative medical devices. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical-based products that meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate system requirements into detailed electrical product specifications
  • Conduct thorough reviews of electrical design outputs and characterization results
  • Ensure seamless integration between electrical hardware and firmware components
  • Apply industry-leading electrical design techniques in areas such as PCBA design, FPGA, motor controls, and custom battery design
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues, create test suites, characterize, and verify electrical product designs
  • Utilize DFSS techniques to analyze and optimize product performance
  • Develop and validate test environments using custom equipment, software, and test methods
  • Verify electrical product requirements through comprehensive testing and documentation
  • Interface with certified test houses to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards, including ISO 14971 and IEC 60601

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in electrical product development for medical devices
  • Proven ability to design and test devices in a regulated environment, adhering to 60601 EMI/EMC and ISO 14971 standards
  • Strong electrical engineering skills, including analog and digital circuitry design, custom battery development, and motor/motion control for electromechanical medical device product development
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
