Project Manager - Site Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the site operations for one of our large-scale projects in Carlow. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff and ensuring that the client's requirements are met while maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Quality, and environmental responsibility.

About the Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project, including management of the project budget, contract administration, and coordination of key stakeholders. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the management of the project site, reporting directly to the Construction Director.
  • Management of the project budget, contract administration, and coordination of key stakeholders.
  • Liaison with Planning/Development Team to ensure project value-engineered during the Pre-Construction Stage.
  • Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and project reporting.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a degree or higher diploma qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years' experience working on large-scale complex projects is required, along with previous experience delivering largescale projects in a tight time frame and on a live site/campus.
