
Agricultural Design Engineer

As a key player in our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing innovative designs for manufacture and collaborating with production teams to create fabrication drawings.
- A third level qualification in Mechanical/Design Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Experience with agricultural machinery design and/or use is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of 3D Design packages such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor is essential.
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and organisational skills are necessary to ensure timely completion of designs.
- Exceptional communication skills are also required to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new product ideas through research and development processes.
- Liaising with senior engineers to develop and implement new designs.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to meet quality standards.
