Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical client discussions to identify and assess qualifying R&D activities and demonstrate a deep understanding of the R&D tax credit legislative and regulatory requirements.

• Manage a team of technical consultants to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs in the R&D tax credit space and within budget.

• Take responsibility and accountability for our client deliverables, develop project plans and timelines which substantiate and support the R&D tax credits claimed by our clients.

• Identify potential risks related to R&D claims and ideate solutions to mitigate them.

• Serve as the primary contact for clients by developing and maintaining trusted relationships, ensuring their satisfaction with the R&D tax credit related services provided.

• Partake in business development activities, including proposal writing, presentations, and identifying opportunities for additional client-related services.

• Monitor progress on projects and provide regular updates to senior management within the business and with client stakeholders.

• Identify real opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures within the R&D Incentives Practice.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and senior staff members within the R&D Incentives Practice for their personal development.

• Analyse data and develop insights on delivery pipelines and internal processes to inform decisions for the successful delivery of projects.

• Participate in industry events and conferences to stay abreast of trends and best practices in R&D, innovation funding, and latest technology developments.

This role will be responsible for managing members of the software engineering technical team. Our team is comprised of people with a variety of backgrounds including science, engineering, computer science, tax, and finance. We work together to use our multidisciplinary skills to achieve the best for our clients.
