Bus Driver Opportunity

  • Safely operate buses on scheduled routes, ensuring timely and reliable service.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, including assisting with boarding when required.
  • Handle cash, ticketing systems, or electronic payment devices accurately and responsibly.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or incidents in line with company policy.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with control staff, colleagues, and passengers.
  • Represent the company as a professional and courteous public service ambassador.

Key requirements include a full UK driving licence, strong focus on safety and responsibility, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, punctuality, reliability, and flexibility with working hours. Desirable skills include previous experience as a professional driver, knowledge of local routes and geography, and previous customer-facing role experience.
