We are seeking skilled Speech and Language Therapists to support inclusive education across primary, post-primary, and special school settings.
Main Responsibilities:- To design and implement inclusive education strategies and interventions for students with communication disorders.
- To deliver teacher professional learning seminars regionally with senior therapy staff.
- To collaborate with senior therapists to develop interdisciplinary resources for schools and educational institutions.
- To engage in in-school collaboration with teachers, including coaching and mentoring on effective communication techniques.
- To review and evaluate interventions using current speech and language therapy literature.
- To maintain accurate clinical records, outcomes, and service statistics for reporting purposes.
- To manage and maintain therapy equipment and identify equipment needs.
- To work collaboratively with regional colleagues, psychologists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support services.
- To participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice with senior therapy staff to ensure best practices.
- To support student therapists and contribute to staff training and development programs.
- To promote participation and wellbeing at whole school, targeted, and intensive levels of support.
- CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience working in an educational setting with students with communication disorders.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive education strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
