Job Title: Associate Director - Senior Study Leader

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our global team in Dublin, Ireland.

About the Role

This is a leadership position responsible for guiding cross-functional clinical trial teams and overseeing study management operations.

  • Lead clinical trial teams in delivering multiple medium to complex global studies, promoting a learning environment and operational excellence.
  • Create effective team dynamics and achieve performance goals through collaboration with sub-team leaders.
  • Guide planning and decision making at the study level, ensuring clinical studies are delivered per Operational Execution Plan (OEP) and clinical study protocol.

Foster an agile culture within assigned studies, working to achieve sprint goals and cycles, thereby maximizing collaboration and minimizing dependencies.

Achieve excellence in study operations and management through process improvement.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in life sciences/healthcare or clinically relevant degree, preferably with an advanced degree.

  • At least 4 years of recent involvement in clinical research or drug development, spanning Phases I through IV clinical activities.
  • ≥ 3 years of recent experience in conducting clinical studies (e.g. planning, executing, reporting and publishing) in a global/matrix environment within the pharmaceutical industry or a contract research organization.
  • Experience managing people globally within a complex matrix environment is preferred.

  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across all levels.
