Schedule and Job Type:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Availability for day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity requires a proactive individual with a strong focus on quality and customer service. You will support the Laboratory Management team in maintaining smooth operations within the laboratory, delivering an efficient and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct daily milk compositional testing in line with established protocols, ensuring the highest quality standards and adherence to time-sensitive requirements.
  2. Follow stringent quality control measures and maintain consistency in testing procedures.
  3. Support the Laboratory Management team in maintaining smooth operations within the laboratory.
  4. Assist in delivering an efficient and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Ensure accurate sample identification upon reception and take necessary corrective actions when required.
  6. Maintain high standards of customer communication, both verbal and written.
  7. Perform routine laboratory tasks, including cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas.
  8. Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the management team to support overall operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Basic numeracy skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A professional demeanor and the ability to interact with staff and customers in a courteous manner.
