Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Android Architect to drive the architecture of Android solutions across key product areas. This individual will work closely with mobile, backend, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining and evolving Android architecture and tech stack
  • Leading technical design and code review processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on security, performance, and integration
  • Supporting mobile teams with clean architecture and modern Android practices
  • Contributing to payment integrations (NFC, tokenization, AppSync, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Expert in Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Android architecture patterns
  • Strong experience in Android security and compliance (PCI-DSS a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with mobile payments, hardware integrations, or POS systems is desirable
  • Strong communicator and technical leader
  • Available to be onsite in Dublin 1-2 days per week
