At Hibernia Services Limited, we are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead our data integration and warehousing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data strategies using Azure and Fabric services to manage, monitor, secure, and ensure the privacy of our data.

The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience leading data integration workstreams, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation of design. They will also have in-depth expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure DevOps.

In this role, you will assist the Head of Data in the development and implementation of an integrated data architecture framework across Azure and Fabric platforms. You will also coordinate the documentation of infrastructure delivered in a manner that enables ongoing support of these systems, utilizing tools such as Lucid Chart and Confluence.

Furthermore, you will assist the Head of Data in the continuous improvement of the Data Hub Operating and Support Model, the Data Architecture Framework, and associated data engineering and support processes. Representing the Data function, you will coordinate Data input on projects to be delivered, facilitating knowledge transfer to and upskilling of staff.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least ten years of experience leading data integration workstreams
  • Experience developing and implementing data strategies, operating models, and governance frameworks
  • In-depth expertise in Azure cloud services
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric services and best practice
  • In-depth experience with relational data systems and data architecture paradigms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft security and governance tools

Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
