Electrical Project Lead

This is a leadership role that involves overseeing all site elements of the project, ensuring full project deliverables are achieved.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • On-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ policies, toolbox talks, RAMS, PPE etc.
  • Ensuring relevant permits are in place.
  • Coordinating on-site plant hire, tools, and labour.
  • Directing and training apprentices to manage deliveries and daily checks.
  • Overseeing and managing labour, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Executing commissioning and close-out plans.
  • Closely monitoring snag lists.
  • Delivering on labour trackers.
  • Managing external correspondence.
  • Ordering day-to-day site materials.
  • Updating progress reports.
  • Maintaining K&M Document Management Systems.
  • Scheduling projects.
  • Communicating changes to project teams.
  • Monitoring project quality and reporting on findings.
  • Overseeing testing certification and handover.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • Qualified Electrician status.
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager or similar role.
  • Experience managing and leading teams.
  • Project management experience beneficial.
  • Computer literacy with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Up-to-date manual handling and safe pass certifications.
