Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioural functioning in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A doctorate in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or counselling psychology is required.
  • Must be registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) as a psychologist.
  • ADOS training and experience in autism diagnostic assessments are desirable.
  • Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice, preferably working with children and adolescents.
  • Strong expertise in psychological assessments and evidence-based recommendations for developmental, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • A commitment to professional development and continuing education in clinical/educational psychology and child development.
