We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee daily operations for a residential services business in Galway. This role manages a team of field engineers, ensuring smooth delivery of installations and maintenance, while driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

This is a senior leadership role that oversees the day-to-day operations of our residential services business in Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of field engineers, ensuring smooth delivery of installations and maintenance, while driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operations management within a service-based industry, strong leadership, planning and organizational skills, proficiency in budget management, KPIs and operational reporting, excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills, and the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate field engineers, manage scheduling, tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, implement efficient workflows, ensure timely service and resolve issues quickly to meet customer expectations
  • Work closely with the Customer Service Team to handle escalations, monitor feedback, and continuously improve service quality and responsiveness
  • Manage budgets, control operational costs, monitor KPIs and SLAs and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership
  • Oversee inventory levels, maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment to engineers
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits and ensure all team members are trained and compliant with health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in operations management within a service-based industry
  • Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient in budget management, KPIs and operational reporting
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
