We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team in Dublin. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our service users, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to service users, including toileting, washing, feeding, and other daily living activities.
- Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Support service users with rehabilitation programs, as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Encourage service users to express their feelings, fears, and experiences openly, promoting emotional well-being and social interaction.
- Fetac Level 5 or QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification, or equivalent.
- Minimum of two former employer references.
- Proof of relevant qualifications, e.g., Fetac/QQI Level 5 (must include Care of the Older Person and Care Skills modules).
- Fitness to Work Certificate from GP.
- Good general health and willingness to undergo a medical if required.
- Premium pay rates for evening and weekend hours worked.
- Travel time and mileage pay included.
- Opportunity to work independently and use initiative.
