About the Role:

The Custody Operations Vice President will be responsible for refining and enhancing the safekeeping and asset servicing offering for global custody entities. The successful candidate will coordinate and support key internal stakeholders on the requirements for expanding global custody operations.

This is a multi-tasking role which encompasses process reviews, client and network relationship management, and daily internal/external stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work with the custody operations, IT development, banking and depositary teams across multiple jurisdictions to understand securities settlement and asset servicing requirements, and craft solutions that automate those requirements in line with operational needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders on the implementation and support of established BAU securities settlement and asset servicing for various instrument types across global markets.
  • Support new client onboarding and portfolio transitions
  • Liaise with our network of sub custodians and ICSDs to enhance operational processes and maintain a robust control environment
  • Implement and oversee a control framework to support tax documentation, withholding tax and reporting requirements and ensure continued adherence throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics for senior management that identifies continued performance and areas of focus for continuous improvement.
  • Review and map existing operational procedures and identify solutions / opportunities to automate business processes.
Requirements

About You:

  • You have a third level business/finance qualification and a minimum of 5 years fund services experience within the European funds industry.
  • Prime brokerage and/or global custody services experience with a broad knowledge of global markets and instrument types
  • Proven ability to build good working relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects / deliverables with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with global teams and adapt to different communication styles.
  • Results driven and self-motivated.
