Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated retail professional to oversee all aspects of supermarket operations.

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service by fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Manage inventory effectively, including ordering, stock control, and merchandising to ensure maximum profitability and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to safeguard employees, customers, and assets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, demonstrating empathy and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and profitability through data-driven decision making and innovative marketing approaches.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain high standards of performance and ensure seamless succession planning.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and adequately staffed store at all times, ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers.
