Senior Manager in Private Debt Fund Accounting

This is a key leadership role within the Private Debt Fund Accounting team where you will be responsible for managing a team to ensure data consistency, completeness and accuracy within the fund accounting processes.

  • Sr. Department resource for Fund Accounting for StepStone Private Debt products
  • Manages team to ensure data consistency, completeness and accuracy within the fund accounting processes
  • Manages direct reports and oversees outsourcing partners for dedicated fund accounting resources
  • Oversees the Fund Accounting processes and ensures sufficient control procedures
  • Establishment of a KPI framework to lead the team and continuously improve such KPIs
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fund accounting and management
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and demonstrated ability to learn new performance and portfolio reporting systems
  • Proven leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire team members
