We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct all financial operations, including financial reporting.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, delivering actionable insights to the CEO and Board.
  • Develop and execute the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's corporate goals and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee capital structure, optimise working capital funding strategy, balance sheet management, and long-term financial planning.
  • Ensure robust internal controls, compliance frameworks, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate as a senior executive in supplier contract negotiations and provide executive sponsorship in managing supplier relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Qualified accountant with 10 years+ progressive financial leadership experience within multi-location retail and/or building materials sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing financial operations of businesses with annual turnover of +€50m.
  • Experience of M&A transactions and integrating businesses into existing operations.
  • Experience in supporting commercial teams to create, execute, and optimise profitable growth strategies.
  • Exceptional communicator, strong interpersonal, and active listening skills, able to create impact and demonstrate proactive stakeholder relationship awareness.
