Senior Technical Transfer Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Transfer Specialist. This exciting opportunity involves working with a leading multinational organization in Cork, Ireland.

  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety across all activities, primarily focusing on technology transfer.
  • Collaborate with a team to drive performance within the Vaccine Technology Transfer group in the Technical Operations Department.
  • Responsible for the technical transfer and scale-up of new processes into Vaccines IPT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical planning and decision-making for the Vaccines IPT to ensure supply of high-quality products through tactical planning and execution of production schedules.
  • Review, ownership, and approval of change control, quality notification, deviation, and investigation records.
  • Recommend technical approaches aligned with global and local standards.
  • Benchmarking and staying current with development of new technologies in the vaccine and biopharmaceutical processing field.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a biopharmaceutical or vaccines environment.
  • Honors degree or masters in a science or engineering discipline (preferably biotechnology).
  • Prefence for Lean Six Sigma qualification or experience applying lean principles.
  • Project management qualification desirable.
