Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide support to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Supervising Pharmacist with day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of the pharmacy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the pharmacy in the absence of the Supervising Pharmacist;
  • Co-ordinating dispensary and OTC duties;
  • Supervising and dispensing prescriptions and sales of medicines;
  • Maintaining relevant records, including daily RX audits, controlled drugs, and methadone management;
  • Staying up-to-date with professional knowledge and maintaining continuous education;
  • Ensuring end-of-month claims are completed accurately and on time;
  • Participating in staff training and development;
  • Contributing to the implementation of pharmacy contracts on a daily basis;
  • Providing assistance with specific duties and projects as required by management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland;
  • Excellent customer and patient care skills;
  • A strong team player mentality;
  • Preferred Skills:
  • - Experience working in a fast-paced environment;
  • - Strong problem-solving abilities;
