Job Purpose:

The role holder will lead the EHS function for Arrabawn, driving compliance and continuous improvement in process, culture & behaviours.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement an EHS strategy for the organisation, ensuring highest standard of EHS performance is achieved and sustained.
  2. Provide active management and support to the EHS team, ensuring effective implementation of EHS Management Systems.
  3. Support Senior Management Team in fulfilling statutory duties through risk management and compliance with current environment, health and safety legislation.
  4. Manage regulatory compliance to Industrial Emissions Licence (IEL) & GHG permit, implementing processes and systems that reduce environmental impacts.
  5. Plan, develop and coordinate the company's EHS risk management programme, providing ongoing briefings on EHS impacts within the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • EHS qualification to QQI level 8 or above.
  • Knowledgeable on current Irish legislation.
  • Experience managing an EHS Management System.
  • A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to influence at all levels in the organisation, with flexibility to travel between different locations.
