As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding systems, networks, and data by designing, implementing, and monitoring robust security solutions. This position is crucial for incident response, risk management, and security awareness efforts within a regulated environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security measures on systems, networks, and information to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Identify and define system security requirements, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Support the development of security architecture and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain system security standards and documentation, promoting compliance and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain tools to address security threats and automate security tasks.
  • Lead and participate in incident response and investigation activities, driving swift resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Deliver training and awareness programs for technical teams and leadership, fostering a culture of security awareness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security or security engineering roles, with a strong background in windows environment, Azure/O365 security, and DLP tools.
  • Hold CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications, demonstrating expertise in security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with PCI, DORA, EIOPA, and ISO27001 standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with scripting, database/OS security, and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure preferred), with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Proven experience working with 3rd-party vendors, managing relationships and driving results.
