Responsibilities- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Evaluate and verify patient consent for anesthesia procedures.
- Communicate with patients regarding anesthetic options and associated risks.
- Administer and maintain anesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions closely.
- Perform clinical interventions as needed to address any issues that may arise.
- Hold a current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Be a graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
- Have certification or recertification from the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
