Construction Site Leader

The Role:
We are currently looking for experienced Construction Project Managers/Site Leaders to oversee our housing projects in County Kerry.
These developments will consist of 60 unit timber-frame properties with 2-3 storeys. As the most senior person on site, you will ensure site safety and operations run smoothly while reporting to a regional Senior PM/Director.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise
- Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades
- Health & Safety Management
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Manage site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem-solving
- Financial Management
- Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently
Requirements:
- Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as construction engineer/site manager/PM
- Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements
- Proven track record in delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget
- Leadership Skills
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines
