  • Develop comprehensive HV substation layouts and create detailed equipment specifications for high-voltage plant and associated systems.
  • Provide expert engineering design input to major infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration of technical services.
  • Act as a key advisor or client engineer/owner's engineer on complex HV substation/cable and OHL projects, overseeing all stages from development to construction.
  • Offer professional technical services to clients across Ireland, the UK, and international markets, encompassing HV design input for renewable energy projects such as solar, hydro, wind generation, and battery storage facilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant academic background.
  • Prior experience working on HV projects, ideally with leading utility companies or developers.
  • Track record of delivering successful projects as a designer or project engineer, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
  • Fluency in English language, with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Full driving license with access to a reliable vehicle for site visits and meetings.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Background in multi-discipline engineering projects, preferably with experience in reviewing detailed designs and witnessing construction site activities.
  • Chartered accreditation or current progress towards achieving chartered status.
  • Consultancy experience or involvement in review processes for large-scale engineering projects.
