We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and at least 3 years of relevant site experience.
The role involves assisting the Quantity Surveyor with quantities and project progress, attending site meetings, and reporting progress to senior management. You will also support the Senior Site Engineer and Project Manager with day-to-day running of the project, acting as a technical advisor on site, and overseeing quality control.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and planning skills, be IT literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office packages. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is essential.
Responsibilities- Assist the Quantity Surveyor with quantities and project progress
- Attend site meetings with the construction and design teams
- Report progress on site to senior management
- Support the Senior Site Engineer and Project Manager with day-to-day running of the project
- Act as a technical advisor on site for specialist subcontractors
- Set out, level and survey the site
- Check plans, drawings and setting out co-ordination
- Oversee quality control and implement the company's health and safety policy on site
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- At least 3 years of relevant site engineering experience
- Experience in setting out, using GPS systems, Total Stations, and proficiency in AutoCad software
- General day-to-day running of paperwork on a site, including method statements, risk assessments preparation, etc
- Clean driving license
The salary package includes €50K - €65K + transport, negotiable based on experience.
