Senior Nursing Leadership Position in Carlow

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in Carlow. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities:- Conduct internal audits and follow up on results to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive induction programs for new staff members.
- Promote innovative practice and encourage teamwork among colleagues.
- E nsure adherence to Company and regulatory standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Foster open communication with clinical staff through regular meetings.
- Build strong relationships with external community agencies to enhance our Home's reputation and services.
- Liaise with marketing teams to maximize opportunities for community engagement.
- Implement robust health and safety protocols to safeguard staff, residents and others.
- Develop and maintain fire training and evacuation plans.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Home.
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Participate in staffing selection and interviewing processes.
- Conduct regular training needs analysis to ensure clinical competence.
- Ensure that clinical practice meets regulations and standards.
- Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years' experience in management, specifically in care of the older person.
- Post-registration management qualification in healthcare or a related field.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Sound decision-making ability and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the organization.
